“Yoga is not about the shape of your body but the shape of your life” Aadil Palkhivala
For many of us, the shape of our lives is high velocity, high stress – we sprint through our daily tasks at fast pace living as a “human doing” rather than a human being. Our minds don’t stop moving but our bodies do as we spend more and more of our time sitting.
Yoga is a perfect antidote to inactivity, to a busy and stressful life, combining gentle physical movement with breathing and relaxation to create inner calm and peace.
In my classes, you will learn physical postures, breathing and relaxation techniques that help to build emotional balance. The class is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience of yoga.
There is no pressure to perform, you don’t need to worry about your level of fitness or body shape, you practice at your own level tuning into what your body needs at any moment. Yoga encourages us to take an approach of acceptance of things exactly as they are – non- judgement – both of ourselves and of others.

I love teaching yoga and have a passion to help others experience the benefits of yoga first hand, to feel a sense of calm and peace and to enjoy greater flexibility.
When I was in corporate life, I lived fast, got stressed and reached the point of burn out. It was then that I found the power of yoga. I’d go to classes and feel stretched, really relaxed and refreshed, very calm and peaceful. It was my curiosity about this experience that lead me to train as a Hatha yoga teacher and creates my passion for others to experience the same.
My teaching style is approachable, pragmatic and adaptable to all levels of practice.
