We are all on a journey from birth to death. There are many choices, many paths but we are all travelling the road together. My yoga classes celebrate the individual and allow you to be free to find and express your true nature. Honour your body, admire it’s form and abilities, radiate energy and love. Face your demons and love the flaws. Accept and receive.

We know that physical activity can bring a multitude of physical, mental and social benefits to us all. In my yoga classes I try to bring a sense of fun and community, mixing ancient philosophy with modern research and science to enhance general feelings of wellbeing and contentment.

Qualifications

I began my yoga practice with Cate Knott in Waterlooville and after a good few years I decided to take my passion for yoga further and started teacher training.  I studied with Gemma Grinter for 2 years and  qualified with Friends of Yoga (FRYOG) as a Hatha Yoga Teacher in 2013.

I began teaching in Waterlooville immediately and have organically grown my classes since then.

I have a particular interest in Yoga for Teenagers and gained my Teenyoga qualification in August 2018. I have taught voluntary yoga classes at Crookhorn College and offer 1-1 and small group yoga classes for young people in KS3 and 4.

I am also a yoga instructor for Havant Borough Council’s Get up and Go programme. Get Up and Go is funded by Hampshire County Council and provides a range of physical activity opportunities for any Havant or East Hampshire resident aged 18+ who was either vulnerable and shielding through the pandemic, or has a physical or mental health condition, how ever mild. www.getupandgohavant.com
